BBQ night 2007

Thank you to the dozen enthusiasts who ventured out on a warm but damp evening to support our August Bike Night & Barbeque. Trophies were not awarded, even though the two Ducatis present were eligible for both categories of "air-cooled" (by design) and "water-cooled" (due to the weather). The burgers were tasty and good value, thanks to John the landlord for keeping the theme of the night even if they did have to be cooked inside. By 9pm the drizzle had ceased and the skies were clearing, so we wandered outside to watch the space station pass overhead, it may be faster than a Ducati but it doesn't sound as good. Waterproofs were not required for the 20 mile ride home, the roads were wet and slippery, but it was still better than being cooped up in car on such a warm night.
