BMF Show 2007

The DOC's customary outstanding marquee duly won us the "Best Club Stand" award at the 2007 BMF Show. This is why we got it, starting with the outside, leaving no-one in any doubt as to who we were.

Several modern classics at the entrance...

...were complemented by older classics inside..

...and a mixture of new and old bikes together.

All were displayed against striking backdrops.

We even had a Playstation (annexed by big kids)

...but Martyn also doubled up as BBQ Chef

Exquisite detail on the 748SP

The rain held of this year, so while the sun shone during the evening, we had a well illuminated marquee....

...so the bikes sunbathed a bit....

...before we tucked 'em up in bed for the night.

Sunday morning Graham and Martyn carried the DOC flag in the parade. Graham's ST2 got muddy!

Meanwhile, some Devitt promo girls stopped by...

so we could get these pictures for you...

Then they asked their mates in too! Good sports

Nora Long's F1 was awarded the Chris Marshall trophy for being the best bike on the stand, with this gourgeous 748SP coming second.

Colin presented Nora with the Trophy.

The sun finally shone on the righteous...

Martyn accepted the BMF Trophy from former DOC Chair Anna Zee, now chair of the BMF, as Guy had gone to find the BMF bods to see where our trophy had got to. Bit of a daft time to go looking really.

But after we had all lined up to take the glory...

...we let him have a little hold of it for a while.

Some of the DSC crew came to congratulate us

...and they did have this rather tasty 900SS (boo)

And finally, our visitors seem to be getting younger all the time. Phil & Tonya Johnson (ex of IMOC) brought their twin grandkids along to inspect the stand. Apparently the excitement was all to much...

Bless!
