First Severn Valley Rally - 2010

Yes it was a bit damp!

...unless you were on the steam train

Brief interludes of sun...

Lots of bikes were parked by the marquee, making it interesting on the way in

What is it about rain, camping, muddy fields, bikes...?

It's rare enough to see one 750GT around these days, never mind two in the same place. Nice.

I'm bored listening to them talk Darmahs...I'm off!

View from inside (dry)..

Double Darmah Delight.

Ritchie's 916 didn't have to come far (thankfully)

Have all them bikers gone now? Good - get some kip.

Star Wars inspired trophies were painstakingly painted by Tracey.

Party time, and the scousers are first to the grub.

The band were
excellent

Some just like to sit it out...

Others gas or hide

I'll get my big brother on to you!

...and a great time was had by all.

Same place, about 10 hours later, for the 2010 AGM

...on with one of the fastest AGM's we've ever had.
Colin Darlow received the Editors Cup from Jilly.

There was time for a drink or two, with a few of us watching the Superbikes on TV before packing the bikes...

Most of the weekend was good weather for this pair.

All in all, a highly successful and well run first Severn Valley Rally organised by the West Midlands Branch.

We all look forward to next year's when with a bit of luck, Saturday will also be nice enough for a ride-out.
