Southern Rally 2006

The 2006 Southern Rally was blessed with fine weather, which made the campsite even more scenic.
Plenty of room so the snorers could be placed on one side of the site well away from those who like to sleep.
What appears to be a drunk is better seen from a different angle....
...where it becomes apparent that this is a curious and quite old custom in the south known as Bungee Long Distance Crawling.
More traditional daft games included lobbing a piston in the general direction of the river Severn.
Mr Stoppani delivers a very baletic effort....
Some were rather more refined in their deliveries....
...or maybe not.
The rallyists gather together for a quick spot of map-reading in preparation for the ride-out.

Terrific weather helped make it an enjoyable experience.

A stop for refreshments...
...and the car park is full of Dukes.
Pretty as a picture 250 Desmo pauses for a breather.
