2009 Ducati 1198

I bought the bike at just over 12k miles after the previous owner had completed a thorough strip and inspect. New belts (genuine Ducati belts from Colchester Ducati) oils, filters, clutch plates and upgraded pressure plate, front forks rebuilt (leak), Exact Start high amp cables for the starter, new Mosfet reg/rec and cool mount.

The service record shows 7 service stamps, the last one completed 22/06/2024 with an MOT dated to 30/06/2025. On 26/07/2024 I had the Sprag Clutch replaced at 13721 miles and the current mileage is 13980 but may increase slightly.

Comes with 2 keys, a full set of documents (4 books inc owners guide, service book), all important Ducati Key Code for key reprogramming, recent bills and V5 in my name.

It has various bits of carbon; front fairing infills, hugger, heel guards, clutch cover….

Other accessories; Termignoni Slip on Exhausts, (correct TSE map installed), Pazzo Racing Billet Adjustable Levers, HealTech Gear Indicator, Oberon alloy fluid caps, Puig dark screen, Motographix number boards nose and tail, single seat converter, gold Renthal quick change rear sprocket hub and sprocket, Renthal chain, 14T front sprocket, there’s even a brand-new unused tool kit under the seat!

Extras included at the sale price, single seat, pillion pegs and the paddock stand.

Oh, one last thing – Why am I selling? The bike is genuinely amazing, it has one mode, full power and there’s something very involving about the ride. BUT, I now want to go touring again (got the Hebridean Way & NC500 in mind) and this sadly isn’t the machine for the job.

I realise whatever price I put, someone will low ball me without even viewing. I’m happy to haggle but it’s advertised at a reasonable price including everything I’m throwing in. Also, it’s a private sale, it’s my own bike, I’m not a dealer. I’m a genuine seller and expect the same. It’s taxed, tested and insured so sort your insurance and cash in my hand and have a go for yourself.
