1980 Ducati Darmah Sport

I bought this bike new in 1980 , it had a hard life because it was under a cover for years due to no garage . It was re-enamelled etc . in the late 80's and tuned by Sports Motorcycles in the 90's with bigger valves and mild porting and hi-comp pistons which I later put back to standard bore with a resleeve . It has a Chris Appleby bigend and a Newton equipment hi-flow oil pump . It was converted from electric start only to kick start only and there is a new primary cover without the starter motor extension in the spares with it  . Keihan silencers , pipes and headlamp shrouds are fitted on it . It has 36120 miles on it and has not run for years but has been turned over and sprayed with ACF50 every now and again . I had a big accident 4 years ago so can no longer ride solos and all my Ducati retirement projects are now going . It was stripped right back of ancillaries years ago and I have spent years buying them back and as you see in the pictures there are a lot of spares with it , some are NOS and some 2nd hand . There are new seal kits for all calipers and master cylinders , new kickstart , centrestand , sidestand , ignition units , indicators , gearlever , sprockets , footrest rubbers , shock absorber , and many more not in the photos ; there are also factory tools . Check the last two pictures for all the spares a lot of which came from Ian Gowenlock in Australia who bought the factory bevel stock .
