This is the later and more desirable example of the final Ducati 748R, a limited run of numbered bikes benefitting from being fitted with upgraded Ohlins suspension, magnesium Marchesini wheels and an upgraded engine as well as this particular machine boasting Ohlins road and track suspension, a carbon fibre air box, carbon fibre front fender and a carbon fibre V piece.....
It is estimated that only 301 Ducati 748R models were produced in 2002. This specific version of the bike was made only in the second year of its production and was only available in red. [TBC by factory]
