This beautifully presented genuine UK supplied Ducati 900SS was purchased new from Apple Motorcycles of Hinckley in May 1979. 

After many years in storage restoration and recommissioning was undertaken where the bike was completely stripped and repainted by The Paint Studio of Nottingham, whilst at the same time the engine was rebuilt and recommissioned by Trevor Milner (Milmoto) of Nottinghamshire.

The bike was then sold by Bonhams and Lusso Veloce serviced and recommissioned it ready to ride. I am the second owner and having purchased in 2023. The bike has only covered an additional 250 miles during my ownership, mainly to Classic Bike events and the mileage is now 7438. There is a history file which has the original sales invoice some early MOT certification, receipts, original numberplate as well as the Bonhams Sales Catalogue listing the bike.
The condition both cosmetical and mechanically is excellent and the bike starts easily and with the 40mm Dellorto Carbs and Conte Exhausts has a beautiful distinct soundtrack.

The bike comes with the original checked and fully refurbished Magnesium Speedline wheels and a new untarnished spare set of original down pipes.
If you wish to ride the bike the sale also includes a new set of the very rare Borrani 4777 rimmed wire wheels with new tyres. So, the bike can be part of a static exhibition or display looking pristine and original. Alternatively, can also be safely ridden using the included set of new wire wheels. This very low mileage bike would be a great addition to any classic collection and also benefits from being fully serviced, ready to ride. It’s officially classified as a historic vehicle and therefore exempt from VED and MOT testing.
