Events Co-ordinator Position Vacancy

We have a vacancy on our CoM or Council of Management, below is a guideline of what is entailed in the role. An events list to be produced of all the clubs and significant branch events, Ducati events, race meets, Moto GP, WSB and BSB rounds and dates, this needs to be in a format that can be sent to the Jilly our Desmo editor to be included in the magazine. It needs to be prepared and emailed a two weeks before publication of the club magazine. With the changing face of social media, the co-ordinator will then set an event up on our Facebook page in the events section and monitor responses along with the organiser of the event, liaise with the event organiser as to what banners if any are required and any merchandise from the merchandise secretary that may be required. Liaising with the organiser of the club events, shows and rallies.

When a new event is identified liaising with the local branch to locate an organiser who will act as the organiser for that event on behalf of the club Attendance to the event is not required but to be a contact for any club events. We have an events section on our new club website that will need to be updated with all club events and any notable biking events in the year. As you can see there is quite a lot involved and will require a bit of time dedicating to it, as it is a CoM position we have 4 meets per year over the country and a Skype chat approximately once per month. We would invite any member who would like to take up this position to put themselves forward.
