Spondon-Ducati (Paso 906) Racing Bike

This bike was built by me from scratch for the 1996 Sound of Thunder series, and ridden by Graham Biggs for all but one of the races, came 4th overall. This is similar to (but is not actually) the bikes described in this article: https://sportsvalve.com/blog/a-closer-look-at-the-spondon-ducati/ .  I am selling with a set of race equipment, Starting rollers, front & rear paddock stands, a selection of rear sprockets, 2 spare rear wheels, one spare front wheel. The bike has been stored in a dry environment since 1996, and was running then but has not been run since. The photos are from the start of the 1996 season and some things were changed during that year.

Frame: Spondon SPE-900DUC S/N: 555

Engine: 906 Paso SN: ZDM906W21-001172

Carbs: MIKUNI BDST 38 with K&N filters

Front Forks: Showa 50mm upside-down (from a 900ss)

Rear suspension: Ohlins SP546 unit

Front brakes: Brembo P4.30/34 x2 with Lockheed pump

Rear brake Brembo P2.105N

Wheels Mavic 5.5" x 17" and 3.5" x 17" (front is Magnesium)

Fairing: race fairing based on the 900SL (but a new fairing will be needed as there is no RHS panel)

Selling as I am never going to race it again. The bike is not ready to go and would need work and some mods like belly pan and shark fin to pass scrutineering nowadays to get it into shape, hence I am looking for offers in the region of £6000.
