Goodwood House (Chichester, United Kingdom), 16 July 2023 - Ducati is one of the star brands of the 2023 Goodwood Festival of Speed, in the year in which the iconic event celebrates its thirtieth edition. The Festival of Speed is one of the most important events on the international motoring scene, capable of attracting thousands of enthusiasts from all over the world who bring their passion to West Sussex with the aim of seeing both two- and four-wheeled machines competing in the world's most important motorsport championships up close, meeting their sporting heroes in person and discovering the most desirable models of the automotive and motorcycle world.

Ducati took part at Goodwood after a  2022 full of satisfaction both on a company and sporting level, in which it proved to be the fastest motorcycle manufacturer by winning everything in MotoGP and WorldSBK.
Ducati values of Style, Sophistication and Performance find the perfect context to express themselves in this event, which in thirty years of history has established itself as a traditional moment of celebration of automotive and motorsport culture and its most iconic brands.

Ducati's participation in the 2023 edition was organized in grand style as part of the greatest tribute that the Goodwood Festival of Speed has ever paid to the MotoGP World Championship. The Ducati Lenovo Team arrived in the United Kingdom in full force with the riders Francesco Bagnaia and Enea Bastianini, the official test rider Michele Pirro, the Ducati Corse General Manager Luigi Dall'Igna  and the Ducati Corse Sporting Director Paolo Ciabatti.

"It's really nice to be here at Goodwood to take part in this splendid festival of motoring culture,” declared Luigi Dall'Igna. "The Festival of Speed is one of those events that enthusiasts of two and four wheels circle in red on the calendar and it perfectly embodies our brand values, with which we are recognized all over the world. As a real motorhead, I must say that in this edition I have seen some incredible vehicles, including several Ducati motorcycles which have left an indelible mark on motorcycling history. When it comes to celebrating speed, Ducati is always ready and participating in this event as reigning World Champions is even more thrilling".

One of the most eagerly awaited moments of the 2023 Goodwood Festival of Speed was the  meeting between Ducati’s two MotoGP World Champion riders: Francesco Bagnaia and Casey Stoner. On Sunday 16 July, Bagnaia and Stoner first met the many fans present and were subsequently captured together in a photo shoot with their respective Desmosedici GP23 and Desmosedici GP8: the two bikes on which both obtained the right, reserved only for the reigning World Champions, to exhibit the number 1. The photograph immediately became one of the symbolic images of the event and is a perfect representation of 15 years of work in which the Borgo Panigale manufacturer has invested to maintain itself at the highest levels in the most competitive championship in the world.

Ducati production bikes also found space in the splendid setting of the 2023 Goodwood Festival of Speed with the participation of a  Ducati Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini throughout the weekend. This model, a combination of sportiness, exclusivity and charm, represents the second chapter of the collaboration between Ducati and Lamborghini and was produced in a numbered and limited edition of 630+63 units. Since the day of its World Première, the Ducati Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini has enjoyed great success among collectors, who make up an important part of the public at Goodwood. It is therefore no surprise that the bike was among the most admired of the event, particularly in the moments of action between the corners of the iconic Goodwood circuit.
